The name "Red Ape Retreat" was chosen to promote and raise awareness regarding the orangutan, an endangered species only found on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. Red Ape is another term for the orangutan, Southeast Asia's only Great Ape.  The Red Ape name reflects the orangutan's hair color that ranges from brick red to dark orange.

This villa is inside the Kuta Royal gated community with property management on site. It has two separate floors that are independent and fully furnished. The lower unit is available for weekly or monthly rental. The "Red Ape Retreat" is a Non-Smoking villa. Smoking, however, is permitted outdoors.
